The countdown to the 2026-2027 school year is officially on! Before our students return to campus, our wonderful Newhart teachers and staff will be busy preparing for another incredible year.

Let’s show them how much we appreciate everything they do by treating them to a special Welcome Back Breakfast on Friday, August 14th.

The Newhart PTA will be providing breakfast burritos, and we need the help of our amazing Panther Community to complete the meal and make the morning a success. Reflections 2026–2027 Theme: What My Culture Means to Me

The 2026–2027 Reflections theme has been announced, and it is “What My Culture Means to Me.” This theme invites students to reflect on the traditions, values, experiences, and communities that shape who they are. Culture can include family traditions, food, language, music, celebrations, sports, and even school experiences that create a sense of belonging. Through visual art, photography, writing, music, dance, or film, students are encouraged to share what makes their story unique and why it matters to them. The focus is on personal meaning and connection.

Students can start working on their Reflections entries now and continue over the summer. All entries will be due on Friday, September 18th.
