Newhart PTA is entirely volunteer run. Our board members and chairpersons generously donate their time to make programs and events possible for all Newhart students, staff, families, and the greater school community.
What does the Newhart PTA do and why should YOU become a member?
The Newhart PTA brings together parents, teachers, school staff, and community members to support our students and school. We advocate for students and fund programs, events, resources, and opportunities beyond the school budget that benefit every Newhart student while supporting our teachers, staff, and school community.
OUR goals for 2026-2027 are to:
- Equip students and teachers with the tools and resources they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive community through engaging enrichment opportunities.
- Celebrate multicultural events and experiences that reflect and honor our diverse student body.
- Offer parent education nights that support families and strengthen school–home connections.
- Host impactful educational programs that enrich learning and inspire growth.
Membership cost:
- Becoming a member of the PTA does not require volunteer time or attend meetings.
- Your $25 membership donation makes your voice count.
- Our goal is for one member of every child's family to become a member of the PTA.
