What does the Newhart PTA do and why should I become a member?
The Newhart PTA is a group of parents, teachers, and community members who work together as a VOICE for our children. We support and speak on behalf of children in our school, in the community, and before government groups and other organizations that make decisions affecting our children.
OUR goals for 2026-2027 are to:
- Equip students and teachers with the tools and resources they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive community through engaging enrichment opportunities.
- Celebrate multicultural events and experiences that reflect and honor our diverse student body.
- Offer parent education nights that support families and strengthen school–home connections.
- Host impactful educational programs that enrich learning and inspire growth.
Membership cost:
- Becoming a member of the PTA does not require volunteer time
- Your $25 membership donation makes your voice count
- Our goal is for one member of every child's family to become a member of the PTA
