What does the Newhart PTA do and why should I become a member?
The Newhart PTA is a group of parents, teachers, and community members who work together as a VOICE for our children. We support and speak on behalf of children in our school, in the community, and before government groups and other organizations that make decisions affecting our children.
Newhart's PTA goals for 2025-2026 are to:
- Provide the necessary tools for students and teachers to reach their maximum potential in and outside the classroom
- Promote a sense of community and acceptance through multiple enrichment activities
- Facilitate before and after school programs
- Champion multi-cultural events and experiences for our students
- Host parent educations nights
- Execute other educational events.
Membership cost:
- Becoming a member of the PTA does not require volunteer time
- Your $25 membership donation makes your voice count
- Our goal is for one member of every child's family to become a member of the PTA
